10 Movies I Can Watch Over and Over Again and Never Tire Of

From Carole’s inspiration

  1. The Princess Bride
  2. Hatari — classic John Wayne from later in his life
  3. Almost all the James Bond movies. I love this series, although there are certain ones I watch only rarely. Others I watch lots!
  4. The Zorro movies. Zorro is a favorite character of mine, and I like most all of the movies of it I’ve been able to watch.
  5. Red Garters: I discovered it by accident, and have enjoyed it again and again ever since. Rosemary Clooney is a beautiful singer.
  6. Jeremy Brett’s Sherlock Holmes — most of them. He is the best rendition of Sherlock I’ve ever seen.
  7. David Suchet’s Hercule Poirot — at least the ones based on actual Agatha Christie stories. They started getting weird when they came up with their own stories.
  8. Star Wars — it’s a classic for a reason.
  9. Miracle on 34th St. — the old version. Nothing really replaces it.
  10. Hmm, I can’t think of a tenth. I’ll update when one occurs to me.

And yes, I know several of these are not movies. I stuck with the watch over and over again idea as being more important.

Ten on a Tuesday: what’s on your mind?

Inspired by Carole Knits Ten on a Tuesday

What’s on your mind right now?

  1. Allergist appointment — I really hope she listens to me and believes that I do know my own body. I do have a sinus infection.
  2. Busy schedule Tuesday through Thursday, much of it in prep for
  3. Stressful thing on Thursday
  4. Followed by massage appointment — yeah!
  5. Funny how I did the same thing seven months ago, also on the second Thursday of the month. I’m reliving my own life.
  6. Prep for interviews! I like interviews, but they are still intense and stressful.
  7. I really want the warping using the warping trapeze thing to work well. I want some dish towels made by me!
  8. Then maybe I could make some for gifts.
  9. Technology is both a love and a hate right now.
  10. I need to go to the library to check out some books. I’m running dry of new things to read that are really catching my interest and that is frustrating to me, as I am an obsessive reader.

Ten things I love to do on a weekend

Inspired by Carole Knits Ten on a Tuesday, I decided to join in for this one.

Ten things I love to do on a weekend

  1. Lay around and read a book
  2. Drink my coffee and breakfast leisurely on Saturday morning while laying around and reading a book
  3. Focus on a craft or two that day — sewing, quilting, weaving, spinning, knitting
  4. Go to the farmer’s market
  5. Watch my Netflix, or The Quilt Show, or something similar. I really don’t watch tv at all, otherwise.
  6. Spend a lengthy bit of time at the bookstore, leisurely sipping the latte and browsing for new authors.
  7. Listen to/Watch some podcasts
  8. Go out for a walk or biking without the pressure of exercise
  9. Hit a craft fair or fiber festival. I don’t even really have to buy anything, just be around the fiber stuff or people who like to make things
  10. Did I mention I love to lay around and read?
